She also manages domestic and international trademark portfolios, handles copyright registrations and disputes, and structures copyright and trademark licensing arrangements designed to support growth while reducing risk.
In disputes and enforcement matters, Tanya represents clients in oppositions, cancellations, and other trademark proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) and coordinates foreign trademark litigation and enforcement through trusted international counsel. Her work also includes helping clients address online infringement and protecting brand integrity online, including handling Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) matters.
Her entertainment industry background, which includes handling music licensing and royalty calculations at Sony Music Entertainment and EMI Music Publishing, provides a distinctive perspective for clients. Drawing on legal practice and earlier industry experience, Tanya helps clients operating at the intersection of creativity, commerce, and technology as well as other businesses needing to use or protect creative assets.
