Brian K. Weber draws on his litigation and extensive judicial clerkship experience to help clients navigate complex legal issues with clarity and precision. He provides clients with strategies that anticipate judicial reasoning and move matters forward efficiently.

Overview

Mr. Weber’s experience includes providing legal support in appellate law, trial-level litigation, and judicial decision-making. Prior to joining Butzel, Brian completed two judicial clerkships, serving as a law clerk to Justice Brian K. Zahra of the Michigan Supreme Court and to Judge Joseph L. Falvey, Jr., of the US Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. During law school, Brian worked as a summer associate at a midsize Michigan law firm and as a judicial intern to Judge Stephen J. Murphy, III, of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

Brian is an Associate practicing in the firm’s Lansing office. He received his juris doctor from the University of Michigan Law School, where he served as an editor of the Journal of Law Reform and earned a Dean’s Scholarship. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Economy from Spring Arbor University, where he graduated summa cum laude with departmental honors.

When he’s not working, Brian’s interests include Detroit and University of Michigan sports, golf, mystery novels, history, and travel.
