Butzel's administrative rulemaking practice provides a full spectrum of services to businesses and individuals across a broad range of administrative issues. Our attorneys handle administrative matters before all levels of local, state, and federal courts and administrative agencies. We can negotiate and structure economic incentives for new investment at all levels, and we have advised on several of the largest and most significant developments in the State of Michigan that relate to brownfield credit, tax abatements, public grants, and investment.

Our experience includes administrative advice and assistance with antitrust and trade regulation, corporate and securities regulation, education, energy and natural resources, environment, financing, health care fraud defense, health care licensing, immigration, infrastructure construction, insurance, labor and employment, licensing, oil and gas, public utilities, taxation, and telecommunications.

Our rulemaking team works with non-lawyer government relations, economic incentive specialists, and other attorneys at the firm to assist clients in meeting requirements for doing business in Michigan, the United States, and the world. We formed our team to meet the increasing administrative law challenges inherent in todays business environment, and our measure of success is our clients records of positive regulatory and administrative law resolutions.
