Litigation Attorney Joins Butzel in Firm’s Lansing Office

LANSING, Mich. –  Brian K. Weber, a litigation attorney, recently joined Butzel in the firm’s Lansing office. He draws on his litigation and extensive judicial clerkship experience to help clients navigate complex legal issues with clarity and precision. Weber provides clients with strategies that anticipate judicial reasoning and move matters forward efficiently.

His experience includes providing legal support in appellate law, trial-level litigation, and judicial decision-making.

Prior to joining Butzel, Weber completed two judicial clerkships, serving as a law clerk to Justice Brian K. Zahra of the Michigan Supreme Court and to Judge Joseph L. Falvey, Jr., of the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. During law school, Weber worked as a summer associate at a midsize Michigan law firm and as a judicial intern to Judge Stephen J. Murphy, III, of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Ingham County Bar Association and Federalist Society.

Weber received a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where he served as an editor of the Journal of Law Reform and earned a Dean’s Scholarship. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Economy from Spring Arbor University, where he graduated summa cum laude with departmental honors.
