David W. Hipp is Counsel and practices in Butzel’s Troy office. Mr. Hipp concentrates his practice in real estate and real estate finance, including loan originations for lenders, representation of borrowers, purchases and sales of real estate, leasing, construction, and development.

Throughout his legal career, Mr. Hipp has represented banks and other lenders in connection with all aspects of commercial real estate finance, including complex loans, syndications, construction financing and workouts.  He also has worked with institutional clients to develop form documents and procedures.  He also has represented buyers and sellers in real estate sale and purchase transactions ranging from single family homes to multi-million dollar commercial properties such as hotels, apartment projects, and shopping centers. He has extensive experience negotiating and drafting commercial leases for both lessors and lessees.
