Overview
Having practiced in South Bend, Indiana as a litigator for more than 35 years, and 25 years as a mediator, Bob is a trusted advisor for clients facing business disputes and issues related to trusts and estates. He counsels estate representatives, fiduciaries, trustees, and beneficiaries to resolve challenges such as will and trust contests, wealth management-related disputes, and claims of fiduciary misconduct, offering guidance and support every step of the way.
Over the course of his career, he has also represented clients in a variety of sectors on cases pending in the state and federal courts in Indiana, including insurance coverage disputes (challenging insurance companies’ denials of coverage), business governance disputes, employment non-compete agreements and other complex contract disputes.
Bob is a Registered Indiana Civil Mediator and has mediated more than 75 cases involving business disputes and personal injury claims.
Bob Devetski is a Senior Attorney practicing in Butzel’s Niles office. He shares his knowledge on topics including litigation, mediation, and insurance coverage matters as a lecturer at professional seminars.
