Overview
Marni collaborates with the attorneys in Butzel’s family law practice to navigate cases efficiently and confidently for the firm’s clients. She drafts pleadings, manages discovery, conducts legal research, and maintains organized case records—ensuring each matter is handled with professionalism.
Prior to joining Butzel, Marni was employed at the Berrien County, Michigan, Public Defender’s Office and in Helena, Montana, at the Office of Disciplinary Counsel. While in these positions, she assisted in trial preparation, researched legal issues, reviewed discovery, investigated attorney misconduct, analyzed trust accounts, and supported litigation proceedings. She has also held a variety of other positions in the legal realm, including Legal Assistant and Executive Assistant.
Marni Rhoa is a Paralegal located in the firm’s St. Joseph office. Across all matters, Marni combines strong analytical skills with clear communication and a commitment to ethical, informed client service.
Outside of the office, Marni enjoys gardening, crafting, and spending time with family and friends.
