Catherine E. Rochelle represents clients in labor litigation, commercial litigation, and regulatory compliance matters. Her clients have ranged from midsize Michigan businesses to Fortune 500 insurance companies. 

Overview

Ms. Rochelle has a depth of experience in first-party auto no-fault, third-party auto negligence, insurance coverage disputes, and defending insurers under the Michigan Assigned Claims Plan. In addition to civil litigation, Ms. Rochelle has experience in Criminal Law as she completed an internship at the office of the Genesee County Prosecutor.

Catherine graduated cum laude from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. While in law school, she was involved with the Veterans Law Clinic, Women’s Law Caucus, and was Vice President of the Federalist Society. She is also a graduate of Michigan State University’s James Madison College, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy and Criminal Justice.

Ms. Rochelle is an Associate attorney practicing in Butzel’s Lansing office. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Insurance and Indemnity Law, Negligence Law, and Young Lawyers Sections.
