Butzel attorneys discuss Cyber in the Real World during OESA webinar on February 10, 2023
ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Butzel attorneys Jennifer Dukarski and Claudia Rast will be featured during a webinar focused on “Cyber in the Real World,” hosted by the Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA) at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, February 10, 2023. Scott Bailey, managing member, N1 Discovery, will join Rast in the discussion. To register, visit https://www.oesa.org/events. (OESA has member and non-member rates for the webinar).
When it comes to cybersecurity issues, automotive suppliers fall into one of three groups: those who have had issues, those who haven’t had issues YET, and those who have had issues but don’t know it. The webinar will feature walk-throughs of real-world security breach experiences. The conversation will include four important sections:
- Pre-Breach – An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
- “Who you gonna call?” – Those first calls can make the difference between a breach that is covered by insurance, whether you’re able to stop payments in the case of business email compromises, and possible privilege.
- When IT met Forensics – How will the two teams work together?
- Message Management – Controlling the message can be critical in successful mitigation.
A Q&A will follow, which will be moderated by Butzel attorney Jennifer Dukarski.
