Butzel adds Intellectual Property and Patent Law attorney in the firm’s Ann Arbor office

Andrew S. AbdulNour joins firm as an associate

ANN ARBOR, Mich. –  Butzel continues to grow with the addition of intellectual property and patent law attorney Andrew S. AbdulNour. He is an associate practicing in Butzel’s Ann Arbor office.

AbdulNour earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University. As an engineer, AbdulNour focused his efforts on testing and product development, and has held positions at Wayne State’s Optical Engine Lab, American Axle, Ford Motor Company, and Hanon Systems. Afterwards, he earned a J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2022. AbdulNour has practiced as a patent attorney, and is currently part of the Intellectual Property Group at Butzel where he specializes in cyber security and automotive licensing.

He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Oakland County Bar Association, Michigan Intellectual Property Law Association (MIPLA), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
