ANN ARBOR, Mich. –  Jennifer Dukarski, Butzel attorney, shareholder and leader of the firm’s Connected Car and Autonomous Vehicle Specialty team, is a moderator and speaker in demand. She will moderate a program during the Society for Automotive Engineers (SAE)/ National Highway Transportation Safety Association (NHTSA) on January 18, 2022 in Washington, D.C. The panel program is titled, “Maintaining Software over the Vehicle Lifecyle.”

Moreover, Dukarski will be featured during the ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Conference which takes place from March 1-2, 2022 in San Jose, Calif. Her presentation is titled, “The Intersection of Standards and the Law: Managing Uncertainty in the Absence of Regulatory Guidance.”

Dukarski focuses her practice at the intersection of technology and communications with an emphasis on emerging and disruptive issues: digital media and content, cybersecurity and privacy, infotainment and shared mobility, and connected and autonomous cars. She assists clients on compliance with various industry regulations, functional safety requirements, and voluntary technical standards. She has become a national leader in legal issues facing emerging automotive technology.

A self-titled “recovering engineer,” Dukarski was named one of the 30 Women Defining the Future of Technology in January 2020 by Warner Communications for her innovative thoughts and contributions to the tech industry.
