Butzel maintains a robust practice in the area of executive compensation, an expertise that complements the firm’s overall strengths in both corporate and employment law. Our attorneys have long experience advising as to such matters as employment agreements, deferred compensation (including compliance with Section 409A of the Internal Revenue Code), stock options and other equity-based compensation, and many other similar arrangements.  We represent both employers and executives of enterprises large and small, including public companies, start-up businesses and nonprofit organizations.
