Butzel Long: COVID-19 Message to Our Clients

3.17.2020

Dear Clients and Friends,

As we all adapt and continue to face the fluid nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is important that you, our clients and friends, know that we are taking measures to ensure our continued attention to your legal needs.

The health and well-being of our clients, staff, and communities remain our top priority.  We have therefore directed our employees to work from home (with some minor exceptions for employees performing critical functions not able to be done remotely).  We’re not sure how long these arrangements will continue, but we are constantly monitoring events and evaluating circumstances.

To make sure this precaution does not interrupt daily working activities, our plan for continued seamless service includes:

  • Remote working capabilities for attorneys and staff;
  • Increased data protection;
  • Frequently updated information through Butzel’s Coronavirus Resource Center;
  • Webinar and virtual meeting ability.

We have asked all attorneys to cancel or postpone in-person meetings, whether in our offices or elsewhere, and encouraged them to use remote communication tools to communicate with clients and others.

We encourage you to contact us with any questions or concerns you have during this time.  We don’t know exactly how long the uncertainty will last or how it will affect all of us, but we are committed to working cooperatively, remaining responsive and being flexible to meet your needs.  We are confident that although these days will be challenging, we will ultimately all be better for working through them with confidence together.

Kindest regards,

Justin G. Klimko, President and CEO
