Tara M. Holland is the Legal Support Manager for Butzel’s Southwest Michigan offices. Her long history serving in a variety of roles in the legal sector enables her to proficiently manage all facets of legal work in litigation, family law, estate and succession planning, corporate and real estate, labor and employment, and other of the firm’s numerous practice areas.

Overview

Daily, Tara manages and organizes legal assistant and support staff activities to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency and to assist Butzel’s attorneys in providing excellent service to the firm’s clients. She collaborates with other members of the firm’s Human Resources Department to enhance administrative processes and to ensure staffing needs are met.

Tara’s legal experience includes roles as a paralegal, court clerk, and legal assistant. This first-hand involvement informs her ability to manage teams in a variety of functions. She has experience with numerous document processing and project management platforms as well as discovery and timekeeping software. She is well-versed in research tools including CourtLink, Lexis/Nexis, Westlaw, and FullCourt.

Tara Holland holds a Certificate from the American Bar Association-accredited Southeastern Paralegal Institute at Dallas. She is fluent in written and spoken Spanish and is currently learning Portuguese.

When she’s away from the office, Tara enjoys culture and language, photography, travel, animals, and spending time outdoors.
