Megan E. Fisher has nearly two decades of experience assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation. At Butzel, she is focused on supporting the firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Department. She is highly proficient in all phases of case management, legal research, and document review. She collaborates with the firm’s attorneys to provide skilled and efficient service to clients.

Overview

Whether drafting or responding to pleadings, motions, or discovery requests, Megan approaches each assignment with an eye toward detail and meeting deadlines. She is known for her exceptional organizational skills. Her experience includes attending trials, depositions, court hearings, mediations, and client meetings. Megan has a thorough understanding of court procedures at the district, state, and federal level across multiple jurisdictions.

Prior to joining Butzel, Megan worked at Michigan law firms focusing on civil and commercial litigation in a variety of areas of the law. Over the course of her career, she has developed an elevated level of competence in trial preparation, including the management of exhibits and witnesses. She is an indispensable asset from the onset of litigation through trial proceedings.

Megan is a Paralegal located in the firm’s Troy office. She earned her post-baccalaureate paralegal certification from Oakland Community College, summa cum laude. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with a minor in Biology, cum laude, from Oakland University, and received departmental honors.

Outside of the office, Megan enjoys spending time at her cottage in northern Michigan with her spouse and dogs.
