Butzel is pleased to announce that AJ Campbell has joined the firm as a Summer Associate in the Detroit office.

Overview

AJ is a rising 3L at Michigan State University College of Law. At MSU Law, AJ is a member of the Trial Practice Institute, where he is developing practical litigation skills through focused training in pretrial practice, courtroom advocacy, and trial strategy. He has also been recognized with a Jurisprudence Award for his work in the program.

AJ earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Niagara University. During his undergraduate studies, he was a two-sport student-athlete and received the Everett W. Ockerman Award for academic achievement in business.

Influenced by the combination of his legal training, business education, and years of participating in competitive athletics, AJ has developed a disciplined, practical, and team-oriented approach to advocacy. His legal interests include litigation, business disputes, and the role attorneys play in helping clients evaluate risk and make informed decisions.

Outside of law school, AJ enjoys playing hockey and lacrosse, golfing, spending time with family and friends, and staying involved in his communities.
