Butzel named to Crain’s 2023 Best Places to Work for third straight year

As a result, Butzel has been named to Crain’s 2023 Best Places to Work for the third straight year, ranking 41 and the only law firm with headquarters in Detroit. Butzel continues to climb in the annual rankings, having been ranked 53 in 2022.

Crain’s renamed Cool Places to Work, Crain’s Best Places to Work in Southeast Michigan.

For this list, they categorized small companies as those with 15-49 U.S. employees; medium companies have 50 to 249 U.S. employees; and large companies have more than 250 U.S. employees.

Crain’s Best Places to Work in Southeast Michigan is a survey and research-driven program in partnership with the Best Companies Group. Best Companies uses an employer questionnaire to examine applicant companies’ practices, programs and benefits. Afterward, it surveys employees on engagement and satisfaction. Eligible companies are at least one year old, have at least 15 employees and are in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Ingham, Livingston, Lapeer, Genesee, St. Clair, Monroe, Lenawee or Jackson counties.
