Labor and employment conference tackles issues impacting southeast Michigan employers on October 28, 2016


Butzel Long hosts 29th Annual Labor, Employment, Benefits and Immigration Law Forum at MGM Grand Detroit

DETROIT, Mich. – Human resources professionals, general counsel, business owners and all who deal with employees need a playbook to keep up with changing laws, regulations and other issues impacting today’s workplace. Butzel Long’s 29th Annual Labor, Employment, Benefits and Immigration Law Forum will focus on a variety of these legal matters on Friday, October 28, 2016 at the MGM Grand Detroit, located at 1777 Third Avenue. Complimentary valet parking will be available.

The seminar begins with registration at 7:15 a.m. The conference takes place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The $190 registration fee includes a continental breakfast, lunch and seminar materials.

The Butzel Long seminar begins with an update on new developments in labor and employment law. Next, participants can select three of the 12 workshops offered on a wide-range of labor, employment, employee benefits and immigration issues faced by most employers.

A highlight of the program will be a panel discussion titled, “Talkin’ ‘Bout Our Generations: Managing a Multi-Generational Workforce.” The panel discussion will be moderated by Butzel Long employment attorney Jim Rosenfeld. Panelists include:
