DETROIT, Mich. – Butzel Long attorneys Sheldon H. Klein and David J. DeVine co-authored a guest article that ran in the fall 2012 edition of The Michigan Business Law Journal, produced by the State Bar of Michigan’s Business Law Section. The article is entitled, “Contract Law and the Changing Business Needs of the Automotive Supply Chain: The Problem of Dual-Source Requirements Contracts.”

Sheldon H. Klein

Based in Butzel Long’s Bloomfield Hills office, Mr. Klein regularly represents automotive industry suppliers in matters relating to upstream and downstream commercial relationships. He is a contributor to and principal editor of the Original Equipment Supplier Association (OESA) “North American OEM Production P.O. Terms and Conditions Comparative Analysis,” the standard industry reference, which Butzel Long has prepared annually since 2008. He also is a regular speaker at automotive industry events.

David J. DeVine

Mr. DeVine, based in Butzel Long’s Detroit office, practices in the areas of business litigation and bankruptcy and serves businesses in a wide array of industries, including automotive, banking, construction, and real estate.
