List of Steel and Aluminum Products Subject to Section 232 Tariff Changes to be Released in Federal Register Tuesday, February 18

2.14.2025

As referenced in our previous Client Alert, early this week President Trump issued two Executive Orders regarding tariffs on steel and aluminum imports into the United States. Importantly, these Section 232 tariffs extend beyond raw materials like the existing tariffs and also cover derivative products. While this list is subject to updating, the current lists of derivative products are set to publish in the Federal Register on Tuesday, February 18. The official notices can be found at these links:

In the meantime, the unofficial publications for each list can be found here for public inspection:

The list of covered products by tariff number are included in the Annexes to each document.

As always, Butzel will continue to monitor developments on trade, tariffs, and other issues important to our clients affecting the supply chain.
