  • Negotiated long term mortgageable ground lease on behalf of developer for construction of physicians office building adjoining surgical center
  • Advised client concerning purchase, tax incentives and the remediation of a contaminated site to redevelop into residential units
  • Working with a developer to obtain DEQ permit to fill wetlands and negotiating an agreement with a nearby conservancy
  • Represented a bank in connection with the acquisition for re-use and adaptation of the site of a failed multi-use development project in a Northern Michigan resort community
  • Negotiated the acquisition of a 150,000 square foot industrial facility on behalf of the purchaser
  • Represent developer in the obtaining of a wastewater discharge permit from a manufactured home park, including fighting the State's decision not to issue a permit through a contested case proceeding

  • Representation of tenant in subleasing 170,000 square feet to social service organization and negotiation of complex arrangements to obtain landlord’s consent
  • Defended New York City real estate operators involving ownership of a New York City hotel, and claims of breach of fiduciary duty, conversion, and fraud
  • Represented hotel owner to bid in and purchased all hard assets of bankrupt onsite restaurant and obtained a full release from lease
