Frank J. Alex joins Butzel Long as Chief Financial Officer

DETROIT, Mich. –  Frank J. Alex has joined Butzel Long as Chief Financial Officer.  Mr. Alex is responsible for oversight of the firm’s Accounting and Finance functions.

“Frank has a solid financial background,” said Justin G. Klimko, President and Managing Shareholder, Butzel Long.  “His depth and breadth of experience is exceptional.  He is a great addition to our firm.”

He has more than 20 years of experience working in the finance and operations divisions within both service-based and manufacturing companies.  Mr. Alex has served as Chief Financial Officer and has held Board of Director positions for multi-million dollar companies, such as Danotek Motion Technologies, Norgren Automation Solutions (a subsidiary of IMI, plc), and Ricardo Inc.

Mr. Alex is a graduate of Wayne State University (B.B.A., 1985).  He is a member of Vistage International the Finance Executives Institute the Finance Executive Networking Group Execunet Senior Roundtable and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA).   Mr. Alex is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
