Butzel Long attorney Robert T. Wilson elected Secretary of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. – Butzel Long attorney and shareholder Robert T. Wilson has been elected Secretary of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan. Mr. Wilson's term runs through 2009.

Previously, Mr. Wilson was the Treasurer and the Publications Director of the Business Law Section. He currently serves on the Business Law Section Council.

Based in the firm's Bloomfield Hills office, Mr. Wilson has extensive experience in a wide variety of complex transactions, with a specific concentration in mergers and acquisitions and commercial contracts.

Mr. Wilson is a member of the State Bar of Michigan. Prior to beginning his law career, he spent ten years in the publishing industry. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the Cranbrook Art Academy and also serves as President of the Board of the Library of Michigan Foundation. He is a graduate of Leadership Oakland.

Mr. Wilson is a graduate of Boston College (J.D., 1994), Indiana University (M.A., 1982) and Denison University (B.A., magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, 1981).
