Butzel Long attorney Les Glick Spoke at ABA Program on Steel and Aluminum Tariffs

Washington shareholder Les Glick, co-chair of the firm’s International Trade and Customs Law Team was a panelist on March 28th at a program sponsored by the American Bar Association International Law Section in Washington DC entitled “SteeL/Aluminum Tariffs-Key Compliance and Other Considerations for Companies and their Lawyers”. Les who is also co-chair of the ABA Customs Law committee covered Customs aspects of the new tariffs, including how importers can preserve their rights to potential refunds. Other presenters on the panel included Matt Borman, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Export Administration, one of the administrators of the new tariff and the exemption process.
