Brian E. McGinty joins Butzel Long law firm as an associate

DETROIT, Mich. – Brian E. McGinty has joined Butzel Long as an associate based in the firm’s Detroit office. He specializes in Corporate and Business Law Matters.

“Brian has excellent attorney skills and is a great addition to the Butzel Long team,” said Justin G. Klimko, President, Butzel Long.

Mr. McGinty is a graduate of Harvard Law School (J.D.). While a student there, he worked as an intern for Justice Henry duPont Ridgely of the Delaware Supreme Court, where he researched and analyzed appellate arguments and wrote bench memoranda in both civil and criminal appeals.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. McGinty attended and graduated from Dartmouth College (B.A., cum laude, 2009). He spent a year studying at University College Cork in Cork, Ireland before matriculating at Dartmouth. In addition, he studied abroad for a trimester at Beijing Normal University in China and for a semester at the Queen’s University of Belfast in Northern Ireland, U.K.

Mr. McGinty has a working knowledge of Mandarin Chinese.
