Represented the paving contractor in addressing the failure of the pavement resurfacing project for a major international bridge. MDOT's contract document for the project employed a new approach in both the contract structure and technical aspects for the pavement resurfacing of the bridge. Following an intensive technical investigation by the contractor and its consulting experts and over 6 months of communications and negotiations MDOT coceded that the contractor was entirely without fault.
