Nicholas J. Stasevich is a shareholder based in Butzel Long’s Detroit office. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School (J.D., 1988), and Wayne State University (two B.A. degrees, with honors, 1985.) In 2002, he was appointed H.M. Mr. Stasevich serves as Chair of the International Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan and is also a member of the International Bar Association and the American Bar Association (International Law Section and Business Law Section). He has served as Chair of the Canadian Investment Committee and Chair of the European Investment Committee of the Detroit Regional Economic Partnership. His other activities have included the Detroit Committee on Foreign Relations; International Visitors Council; M.E.L.L. Detroit Public Schools Volunteer; and Volunteer Youth Counselor. Mr. Stasevich was a Research Fellow, Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Warsaw, Poland, and is a speaker/lecturer at numerous business, legal and community forums.
