Represented the American subsidiary of China's third largest privately held company in an automotive supplier dispute; Plaintiff wrongly accused our client of breaching a contract.

We obtained summary judgment in our client's favor from the federal district court, and on appeal, we obtained a unanimous affirmation, in a published opinion, on plaintiff's appeal to the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.  The question presented was how Michigan's borrowing statute applies to a breach of contract action and the Sixth Circuit decision established a new and clarified rule of law for the application of foreign statutes of limitations.
