Recent amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, as well as countless federal regulations establishing record retention requirements, make it imperative that every organization have in place a formal corporate-wide records management program. This seminar will address:
Understanding electronic discovery and the new FRCP;
Implementing a reasonable and cost-effective discovery process in anticipation of litigation and/or investigation;
Taking steps necessary to have a "paperless" office;
Drafting a practical records management policy; and
Organizing the records management program.
