Prepared an Amicus Curiae Brief to the U.S. supreme court urging the Court to grant states and local government units latitude in the regulation of firearms

The brief was authored in connection with a case in which the Supreme court will determine whether the Second Amendment right to bear arms is incorporated against the states under the Fourteenth Amendment.  The brief argues that such latitude is of critical importance in keeping firearms out of the hands of extremists bent on violence.
