Adele P. Jorissen is an Associate practicing in Butzel Long’s Bloomfield Hills offices. She concentrates her practice on health care.
Ms. Jorissen has represented health care providers in transactional and corporate matters. She has also represented them in Recovery Audit Contractor (RAC), Medicare, and other third-party payor audit appeals.
Ms. Jorissen is a graduate of Ave Maria School of Law (J.D., 2007), where she was a member of the Moot Court Executive Board, the Women’s Law Association, the Intellectual Property Group, the International Law Society, and the Thomas More Society. She also worked in the school’s Women’s Immigrant Rights Law Clinic and represented women in immigration and asylum matters. She is also a graduate of the University of Dallas (B.A., 2004).
Prior to joining Butzel Long, Ms. Jorissen had internships and clerkships with the Michigan Children’s Law Center, the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Juvenile Division, and the Department of Homeland Security. She was also a Legal Advocate at a local domestic violence shelter, where she accompanied and represented domestic violence survivors in court matters.
