Oscar H. Feldman is Counsel to Butzel Long and practices in the Bloomfield Hills office. He holds a B.A. and an M.B.A. degree from The University of Michigan and a J.D. degree from Columbia University Law School, each of which he received with honors.
Mr. Feldman was a lecturer at both Columbia and Wayne State University Law School, teaching subjects in Federal taxation and estate planning. He served as an Attorney in the office of Chief Counsel, Internal Revenue Service, Washington, D.C.
Mr. Feldman’s practice has been principally in the areas of Federal taxation, estate planning and commercial business and finance. He has represented public and private corporations in effecting mergers, consolidations and other forms of reorganizations. Mr. Feldman has served as Chairman of the State Bar of Michigan Tax Section and the City of Detroit Bar Tax Committee. He devotes significant time to charitable organizations, principally in his capacities as President of the Pistons-Palace Foundation and as Vice Chairman of the Southeastern Michigan Chapter of the American Red Cross. Mr. Feldman is a 2005 inductee into the Michigan Jewish Sports Hall of Fame.
