ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Mark W. Jane has joined Butzel Long as an associate attorney in the firm's Ann Arbor office. Mr. Jane practices in the areas of Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), employee benefits and compensation. He has experience in a variety of employee benefits matters, including Qualified Domestic Relations Orders, service provider contracts, and plan drafting and compliance. He also has experience with ERISA collection matters, particularly relating to Taft-Hartley fringe benefit funds for the building trades.
Mr. Jane is admitted to practice in the State of Michigan and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan (Labor and Employment and Taxation Sections).
Mr. Jane is a graduate of the University of Michigan (B.A. with high distinction, 2002) and Loyola University Chicago School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2006). He is a resident of Farmington Hills.
