Ms. Consiglio has extensive experience in representing buyers and sellers in merger and acquisition transactions involving both public and private companies. She regularly advises companies and investors in venture capital and private equity financing transactions. Ms. Consiglio’s practice also includes other complex transactional, corporate and securities matters, such as joint ventures and cross-border transactions, SEC compliance and reporting, public offerings and corporate governance. Her corporate finance experience includes IPOs, public “shelf” offerings and private placements of securities. Ms. Consiglio represents companies as general corporate counsel, providing advice in all aspects of corporate governance.

Ms. Consiglio is the co-chair of Butzel Long’s Pro-Bono Committee and a member of the firm’s Professional Development Committee, M&A Group and Investment Management Group. She is a contributor to the firm’s Investment Management Electronic Newsletter. Ms. Consiglio is a member of the State Bar of Michigan Business Law Section and serves on its Law Schools Committee and Unincorporated Enterprises Committee.
Prior to joining Butzel Long, Ms. Consiglio was an associate in the Business Law Department of Goodwin Procter, LLP in Boston, Massachusetts. While in law school, she interned in the Fugitive Unit of the Office of International Affairs at the United States Department of Justice.
She is a graduate of The George Washington University Law School (J.D., with honors, Order of the Coif, 2000), where she was Executive Notes Editor of The George Washington University International Law Review, and Georgetown University (B.S. Foreign Service, cum laude, 1995).
Ms. Consiglio is a member of the Oakland County, Massachusetts and American Bar Associations. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Michigan.
