ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Butzel Long associate attorney Mark W. Jane has been elected co-chair of the Washtenaw County Bar Association New Lawyers' Section. His term begins on June 30.
Mr. Jane practices in the area of ERISA, employee benefits and compensation. He has experience in a variety of employee benefits matters, including Qualified Domestic Relations Orders, service provider contracts, and plan drafting and compliance. He also has experience with ERISA collection matters, particularly relating to Taft-Hartley fringe benefit funds for the building trades.
Mr. Jane is admitted to practice in California and Michigan and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan (Labor and Employment and Taxation Sections).
Mr. Jane is a graduate of the University of Michigan (B.A. with high distinction, 2002) and Loyola University Chicago School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2006).
